just make it as surreal as possible if i can believe its something from a story. that it doesnt exist well then i cant fuck it up as bad. or at least if it all goes to hell. well it practically wasnt there to begin with so loosing it wont hurt as bad. sing it for me. or make it seem like one of those stories we used to read. anything that can fall apart as easily as the silence at the end of the song or the last page in a book. make it so the feelings are only temporary. superficial even. anything phantasmagoric. anything but love. because it will sting but only for a few minutes.
